SULPHUR, OK - A Sulphur woman is sentenced to two years in prison after admitting her involvement in a nursing home drug ring.

42-year-old Carrie Ann Billings pleaded guilty last week to charges of obtaining a controlled dangerous substance and conspiracy. Billings will begin serving her sentence on Jan. 15.

Sulphur Police said Billings and six other employees at the Callaway Nursing Home in Sulphur called in fake prescriptions for hydrocodone, used small amounts of the drug and then sold the rest on the streets.

The six others charged in drug ring are expected to appear in court early next year.
