Wynnewood officer-involved car crash

WYNNEWOOD, OK - An car wreck in Garvin County involving a police officer sends two men to the hospital.

OHP said Wynnewood Police Officer Keith Cornelius was responding to a call with lights and sirens activated when a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Boyd Ashley made a left turn in front of the responding officer.

The crash happened on State Highway 29 in Wynnewood around 10 p.m. Saturday.

Ashley was taken by helicopter to OU Medical Center in stable condition.

Cornelius was treated and released from a pauls valley hospital.
