UPDATE: Sherman Police find body of missing woman

SHERMAN, TX -- Sherman Police say they have found the body of a Sherman woman who went missing this week and have made an arrest in her death. Police say they found Sarah Lindsey Swaim's body in a rural part of Grayson County Friday afternoon. Officers are not releasing the exact location, but they have told us they have arrested Swaim's boyfriend 31-year-old Gregory Shane Bailey.

Achille police chief reinstated, Mayor won't resign

ACHILLE, OK-Just Wednesday morning, five Achille police officers turned in their badges and the mayor announced his resignation all in connection with the firing of the police chief last Friday. But just hours ago, everything changed again.

Former client says Garvin Co. lawyer solicited her & teen daughters

GARVIN COUNTY, OK - 33-year-old Jeremy Oliver was charged Tuesday with soliciting sexual conduct with a minor and distributing obscene material. He was released from jail on a $25,000 bond. Now, the former client who accused Oliver said she is putting aside her fears and speaking out against the attorney in hopes other victims will do the same.

Achille mayor plans to resign, more officers turn in badges

ACHILLE, OK-Just days after the Achille Police Chief was fired, five police officers, including two captains, resigned Wednesday. Victoria Maranan was there as they turned in their badges that morning and were joined by yet another prominent figure who announced he's also stepping down.

Local schools react to proposed bill

GRAYSON CO., TX-Right now, the State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness exam, or STAAR, counts for 15 percent of a high school student's grades. But a group of lawmakers wants to change that and give school districts the option to decide for themselves whether the test will impact grades at all.
