TEXARKANA, AR -- A Sherman native was one of four people were killed Tuesday in a fiery tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 30. Authorities said a semi truck crashed into vehicles stopped in a construction zone, and set off an explosion.
- Feeding Veterans: Local restaurant gives back
SHERMAN, TX -- Hundreds of veterans received a big showing of appreciation at a local restaurant Wednesday. Vets were offered free meals by the management and staff at Applebee's Grill on Texoma Parkway. The Sherman event was part of a nationwide program according to restaurant manager Tim Neal, who happens to be a veteran too.

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX-- On 12 acres of Grayson county countryside more than 300 dogs have gotten a second lease on life. The animal Rescue foundation, or ARF, is more than just a shelter for unwanted canines; it’s an oasis for dogs that were unwanted, miss-treated and sometimes, just thrown away.

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma health officials say more swine flu vaccine is arriving, making more people eligible for vaccinations. The priority groups for the vaccination has been expanded to adults ages 19 to 24, all health-care workers and all caregivers of infants younger than 6 months.

LOVE COUNTY, OK -- One man is dead in Love County after a car accident on Interstate 35 near mile marker 14 on Sunday. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 73-year-old Dale Bannister was traveling northbound in a 2008 Chrysler when he ran off the road and struck a guard rail. - KXII (Ch. 12), Fox Texoma (Ch. 13) to launch on DirecTV on Nov. 18
