MEAD, Okla. -- Bryan County sheriff's investigators are looking for a group of teens responsible for breaking into a Mead restaurant, and they need your help.

It happened early last week at Ben's Barbeque, which captured the surveillance video in the clip.

Authorities say at least 4 people got in through a drive-in window and took off with thousands of dollars worth of food, cash, and tools.

Three girls and a boy are seen hauling the items out of that business.

If you know who they are, you are urged to call authorities.

Get real, you are right. The kids are to blame for the crimes. And the parents are to blame if they don't turn them in. No parent can look at that video and not know their own child. Come on "parents", if it's yours do yourself, those kids and the rest of us a favor and turn them in.

oh please. blaming this on the parents is so lame and out of step with reality. as if some 'after school activity' or 'summer program'is going to *make* these kids have the good common sense not to break into a business. if you notice, this didn't happen during the day time, it all happened at night. also, if the parents were to ask where the kids were going that night, i bet the kids would not have said "to rob ben's bbq". put the blame where it squarley belongs - on the shoulders of these kids. i know of three boys raised by themselves and the neighbors because the parents are too 'drugged-out'. now, these kids are grown and are good men. the kids who robbed ben's made their own choices.

Parents... Do you know where your children are ?
  • by Anonymous on Jun 25, 2008 at 07:37 PM
Just another example of "parents do you know where your children are?" Probably not these kids.....a lot of kids are just let loose to do whatever they want. There needs to be more summer programs to keep these kids active and out of trouble...and not out thieving from those of us who are working for a living.
