SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - An Ardmore man is charged with first-degree manslaughter for a fatal crash in December.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 53-year-old Matthew Northam was driving a semi on State Highway 76 in Wilson while high on meth.

Court records say Northam drove into the oncoming lane and sideswiped an SUV.

The driver of the SUV, Brandi Salyer, was flown to a hospital where she later died.

Northam faces a minimum of four years in prison if found guilty.
