Sherman moving forward with virtual Summer workouts
SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - After a coach tested positive for COVID-19, Sherman High School has transitioned back into a fully-online workout program.
Out of an abundance of caution, the athletic program shut down its in-person workouts for the next two weeks. The program had previously thought about closing down for the next two weeks, to give the student-athletes a break for the Fourth of July, and the following week is the UIL’s mandatory dead week.
Like most other schools across the state, Sherman previously experimented with online workouts when the pandemic first broke out this Spring.
