ARDMORE, Okla. (KXII) - Police are searching for a teen accused in a shooting last month at an Ardmore park that left a woman injured.

Officers identified the suspect Monday as Jackson Henry Williams, 17, and said he remains at large.

Police say Williams pulled the trigger in the June 23 shooting at Charlotte Hall Park, which started with he and 19-year-old Gabreon Noland arguing during a marijuana deal and ended with an innocent bystander, a 20-year-old woman, shot in the back. The woman’s last known condition was stable a day after the shooting.

Police saw Noland running from the park and arrested him on a charge of unlawful carry of a firearm, but say he is not the one who fired the gun.

Police said Williams is known to stay in the Ardmore area, as well as north Texas.

Police described Williams as a black male, with black hair, brown eyes, approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and weighing around 135 pounds.

Anyone with information on Williams’ whereabouts is asked to call Ardmore Police at 580-223-1212.
