SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - Police arrested a man Sunday night in Sherman accused of throwing rocks at cars and businesses.

Officers said around 6 p.m. they received a call of a suspect throwing large decorative rocks through the windshields of cars parked at Chili’s and Texas Roadhouse restaurants near the U.S. 75/U.S. 82 interchange.

An employee of the Chili’s restaurant said they evacuated people inside their establishment.

Police said one person was possibly injured but did not provide further details.

When officers tried to track down the suspect, they said he ran off but was eventually arrested at the nearby McAlister’s restaurant in Sherman.

Police have not yet released the suspect’s name.
