(KXII) - The Melissa Lady Cardinals were at their best when Katie Webb was on the court..

Webb led Melissa to four district championships with a perfect district record in each of her four years. She was a 3 time district MVP, all-state selection and averaged 15 points and 11 rebounds per game. The Lady Cardinals had several successful playoff runs while Webb was a part of the team.

Webb would go on to play college at Southeastern Oklahoma State, where she became one of the greatest players in Savage Storm history.

She became the second all-time scoring leader at Southeastern, behind only the great Crystal Robinson. She was named All-American twice and the Great American Conference player of the year..

Webb averaged over 18 points per game her senior year and was voted as the greatest player in GAC history by the fans.
