DENISON, Texas (KXII) - Denison police say they are searching for suspects in two pharmacy burglaries.

Officers say the first burglary happened July 5 around 9:15 p.m. at the CVS on FM 120. They say two suspects entered the store and forced open the door to the pharmacy to steal medications. Police say the suspects left out the fire exit.

Police say a second burglary happened around four hours later at Med Choice Pharmacy on West Morton Street. Officers say around 1 a.m. on July 6, two suspects cut through the roof of the pharmacy and attempted to steal controlled medication that was locked in a safe.

The suspects were in the store for around five hours before they were picked up by someone driving a dark-colored passenger car around 6:10 a.m.

Police were not able to confirm if both incidents were connected, but because of the timing they say could be the same suspect.
