WAPANUCKA, Okla. (KXII) - A man has been arrested after a stabbing in Johnston County over the weekend.

Deputies arrested Holland Brown for assault with a dangerous weapon after he allegedly stabbed his mother Saturday night.

It happened in Wapanucka on South Main Street near East Street.

The sheriff’s office says the victim was taken to a local hospital before being flown to an Oklahoma hospital with a major throat laceration.

Brown’s bond has not been set, and he could face additional charges once the DA reviews the case.
