COLBERT, Okla. (KXII) - Colbert Public Schools are the latest to announce a change to some of their learning plans due to exposure to COVID-19.

The district website announced Wednesday a positive test of a faculty member at Westward Lower Elementary School has resulted in the quarantine of some faculty and staff.

Three-year-old through third-grade students will be distance learning through Aug. 27.

Parents of these students should expect a call from their child’s teacher with more information.

More information on the district’s back to school plan can be found on the Colbert Public Schools website.
