CARTER COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - A family is injured with two flown to an Oklahoma City hospital after a crash in Carter County Thursday night.

The crash happened shortly before 9:15 p.m. on State Highway 53 West, about six miles north of Lone Grove.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says three people were traveling east on the highway when their pickup left the road and struck a tree.

The driver, 60-year-old Early R McCourt Jr, and his 4-year-old nephew were flown to an Oklahoma City hospital for serious injuries.

The boy’s father, 27-year-old Allan Torralba, was not injured.
