Suspects on the run after Pushmataha County chase

PUSHMATAHA COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - Two suspects are on the loose after a chase with deputies through Pushmataha County.

The Pushmataha County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy was attempting to stop a car at Sardis Lake when the driver fled down Highway 2 to Highway 1 before ending up on CR 1630.

Once the car stopped, the officer chased the suspects on foot into the woods.

Authorities are still waiting to confirm their identity to issue arrest warrants.

Deputies found meth and a few thousand dollars in cash in their car.
