Denison crash leaves two injured, shuts down highway

DENISON, Texas (KXII) - A crash just outside of Denison shut down a highway for half an hour and left two people injured.

The crash happened on US-69 near Travis Street around 8 a.m. Monday morning.

Denison police say a car heading east slowed down to turn on to Travis Street when they were hit from behind by another car.

Both drivers were taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The highway has since been reopened.
