TRAFFIC ALERT: TxDOT announces road closures for US-75 in Denison

DENISON, Texas (KXII) - The Texas Department of Transportation has announced a number of upcoming road closures affecting US-75 in Denison.

The closures are expected due to multiple road projects.

The left lane of southbound US-75 between Loy Lake Road and FM 691 will close as crews begin work on road barriers on December 18 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

From January 5 to March 18, a full closure is expected for northbound US-75 between FM 691 and Spur 503 due to frontage road reconstruction.

A light installation will force the closure of the northbound US-75 entrance ramp from Spur 503 from January 6 to January 13.

During construction the Denison Police Department says access to Texoma Medical Center will remain open through Jerdy Gary Avenue. They recommend that drivers heading north on Spur 503 should continue toward Loy Lake Road and take the next available entrance ramp to access northbound US-75.
