Presley Mitchell's coach says the 11-year-old was playing for the Texas Attitude fast-pitch softball team at Texas Health Foundation Park in Denison.

He says she was playing well and stole a few bases before she was taken to a local hospital where she passed away.

Mayes Elementary posted to social media saying Presley was kind, loving and fun. The school asks everyone to wear a jersey Monday to show support for Presley's family.
