2 children killed in Garvin Co. crash

GARVIN COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a collision in Garvin County that killed two children.

It happened close to noon Saturday at the intersection of County Road 1570 and 3300 just east of Pauls Valley.

Troopers say the cause of the crash is under investigation, but say two vehicles were involved, an SUV and a pickup.

They say a 9-year-old boy and 13-year-old girl were killed, both passengers in the SUV.

A man who was driving and a woman passenger were taken to an Oklahoma City hospital.

Troopers say the driver of the pickup was treated and released.
