3 employees at Ruiz Foods in Denison test positive for COVID-19

Ruiz Foods has confirmed three positive COVID-19 cases at their Denison facility.

A company spokesperson said the cases have occurred since the three-day Easter holiday.

The spokesperson said employees who were exposed have been informed and placed off work for a minimum of 14 days.

Ruiz Foods Denison's Director of Operations Mitch Martin said they implemented temperature screening and mandatory mask-wearing weeks before the employees tested positive.

Ruiz Foods is Grayson County's third-largest employer with more than 1,100 employees.
