Arrest made in Ardmore shooting that injured 2

ARDMORE, Okla. (KXII) - An arrest has been made after two people were shot in Ardmore Tuesday night.

Around 11 p.m., Ardmore police responded to a call of shots fire near the Hickory Creek Child Center on 4th Street NW.

They say Jason Kent allegedly fired shots into a vehicle his wife was in, shooting her and the driver of the car.

The woman was shot in the abdomen and taken to Mercy hospital. She was treated and released.

The driver of the car was shot in the leg. He is being treated at an Oklahoma City hospital and is expected to survive.

Officers and SWAT found Kent hiding inside a shed nearby and he surrendered without incident.

He has been booked in to jail on charges of shooting with intent to kill.
