Minnow Drive in Cartwright was full of fire engines, flashing lights and smoke Wednesday evening.

Around 6:30 p.m. fire crews from Cartwright and Colbert responded to a multi-structure fire. 3 mobile homes within a few feet of each other went up in flames.

Neighbors said the homes were all vacant at the time. Officials confirmed no one was inside when they arrived. One witness who lives nearby said he's thankful the fire didn't spread to his home.

"It was crazy! I didn't know, I was inside with my cousin and my sister came in and was like, 'y'all see this fire outside?' I was like, 'yes I did,' and it was crazy. It was taller than all these trees and everything," said witness, Matthew Hare.

Firemen have not determined a cause. The fire marshal will be headed out tomorrow to investigate.
