3 arrested after meth discovered during traffic stop

COOKE COUNTY, Tex. (KXII) - A traffic stop in Cooke County led to the arrest of three people after the sheriff's office says it found drugs inside the car.

Christopher Wayne Hestand, James Martin Lewis and Brooklyn Michelle Fowler were arrested Wednesday after meth was found during a traffic stop, leading to a follow-up investigation.

The investigation into the origin of the narcotics led the sheriff's office to a motel room and an apartment. Investigators found an unattended 2-year-old girl while executing a search warrant at the apartment.

Hestand is charged with endangering a child. All three are facing felony drug charges.
