On Memorial Day weekend, the Artesian Plaza in downtown Sulphur turns into a vibrant place filled with Native American art during the Artesian Arts Festival. Browse through one-of-a-kind work from over 100 prominent artists and find something beautiful you can't live without. While you're there, enjoy live musical performances, have a delicious meal from food trucks and much more. This family friendly event even has children's activities to keep the kids entertained. There is something for everyone at the Artesian Arts Festival conveniently located just minutes from the Chickasaw National Recreation Area.

Hosted by the Chickasaw Nation, the Artesian Arts Market spotlight prominent Native artists from across the country and celebrates all forms of art.

Diverse art media and a vast selection of visual art including paintings, basketry, jewelry, sculpture, metalworking, bead work, textiles and pottery are featured at the Artesian Arts Festival.

A wide variety of musical entertainment, tribal dance demonstrations, art talks and food vendors is also planned, as well as a special area for children's activities and a senior citizens' arts and crafts booth.

Open to the public at no charge, the Artesian Arts Festival welcomed more than 8,000 attendees to last year's festival. Accomplished artists representing a number of tribes participated.
