85th annual Christmas parade held on Denison's Main Street

DENISON, Tex. (KXII) - The City of Denison held its 85th annual Christmas parade Thursday night.

The event kicked off with the lighting of the tree at Heritage Park.

The Denison High School Marching Band led the way down Main Street.

Floats were strung with tinsel and lights, snowflakes danced and twirled and the Grayson County Sheriff's Office had the Grinch locked up in the back of their truck.

Hundreds of people on Santa's nice list were there to see the big man himself at the end of the parade.
