Accidental shooting leads to Bonham man's death

BONHAM, Texas (KXII) -- A Bonham man died after accidentally shooting himself in the leg.
It happened Wednesday morning near a residence on Highway 78, north of Bonham.
Fannin County Sheriff Donnie Foster said a person reported the incident after being awakened by a shot and then finding the victim.
The man, 59, was apparently cleaning the gun when it discharged, and the bullet hit a main artery in his leg.
