ACHILLE, Okla. (KXII) - The Town of Achille will have their first town hall meeting with their newly elected board members Tuesday night.

Citizens in Achille elected Randy Howard, Amanda Williams and Patrick Davis to the town's board of trustees last week.

The board members are set to elect a new mayor to replace David Northcutt, who did not seek a new term.

A town representative says the board will also continue with their interviews for the open police chief position.

The board voted in March to fire former police chief Chris Watson.
