An Ada police officer turned himself into officials Sunday after a warrant was issued for his arrest for domestic abuse.

A press report stated Officer Roy Musser was accused of physically assaulting a woman multiple times in 2018.

The woman alleged Musser pinned her to a wall and choked her during an argument in September.

She stated to police she had tried to leave Musser, but he held his gun to his head and threatened to shoot himself.

Pontotoc Sheriff's Office says Musser was released on a $10,000 bond.
