Ada restaurant disturbance leads to drug arrest

ADA, Okla. (KXII) -- Ada Police arrested one man after being called to quell a disturbance outside a restaurant.

Ada police said Michael Parker, 22, was drunk and in possession of a firearm when he was arrested outside the Sante Fe restaurant.

A police report states Parker's father, John, showed up to the restaurant and the two starting fighting.

An employee told police he saw Michael had a gun while his father tried to restrain him.

Once police detained Michael, they saw an AK-47 and a large amount of cash inside his father's car.

They searched it and found more than $6,000 in cash, the loaded AK-47 and a revolver inside.

Police found nearly 2 pounds of marijuana in Michael's car.
