Amber Alert canceled after children found safe in Dallas

An Amber Alert has been canceled after two children inside a stolen SUV were found safe in Dallas.
Farmers Branch police say around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, an unknown person stole an SUV that had the two children in the backseat.
The SUV is a burgundy 2017 GMC Terrain with Texas license plate HFL-1525.
Preston Jeremy Scarlett is a 5-year-old boy with a mohawk and brown eyes. Police say he is four feet tall and was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and black Nike shoes.
Princess Janelle Scarlett is a 4-year-old girl with cornrows and brown eyes. Police say the 3-foot-tall girl was wearing a white shirt with a pink and green mermaid on it, blue jeans and black and pink Nike shoes.
Police say the owner of the SUV was checking the mail when the subject got in and drove off. They do not know if the person knew there were kids inside.
