Amber Alert cancelled after 4-month-old found safe, suspect still at large

ARDMORE, Okla. (KXII) A Carter County infant is safe after an Amber Alert was issued Wednesday night for a missing 4-month-old boy.

Leighton Williams was reported missing around 11:30 p.m. Authorities issued an updated they had located the baby just before 1:30 a.m.

Authorities are still looking for Danny Gordon, who they believe to be armed, and the father of the infant.

He is described as a black male in his thirties. He is driving a black, 2015 Dodge Challenger with tinted windows, and the license plate reading: BQS057.

They say Gordon forcefully took the infant from his mother, and attempted to run her over with his vehicle.

Deputies say when they were in contact with Gordon, and say he stated he would not be bringing the infant back to his mother.
