Ardmore Parks and Rec celebrates Leap Day in the Park
People came together in Ardmore Saturday for the city's first Leap Day celebration.
Leap Day at the Park, held at Ardmore Central Park, was themed around frogs.
Children hopped in on the action by playing games, making crafts and even frog tattoos.
"One of the things that we strive for is to bring the community together. We love when the community's all out, everyone is out having fun. Kids are playing, adults are out, everyone is out in the park and everyone is having a great time," said recreation supervisor Tess Stewart.
The Ardmore Parks and Recreation department is looking forward to celebrating leap year again in 2024.
