Ardmore Police search for wanted unregistered sex offender

ARDMORE, Okla. (KXII) - Police in Ardmore are looking for a convicted sex offender who failed to register when he was released from prison earlier this year.

According to police, Kevin Miranda, 32, never registered when he was released from prison in April after serving time for failing to register for the second time.

Online records show Miranda was convicted on two counts of second degree rape in 2007 and served 9 years in prison. Police said his victim was a 14-year-old girl.

Police described Miranda as a light-skinned black male, 5'8," 180 pounds. He has several distinct tattoos, including “A-Town” above his eyebrown and “580” on his cheek. He also has “Kurupt” and “only” on his forearms. He also has several other tattoos.
