ARDMORE, Okla. (KXII) -- Adriane Johnston says she and her 9-year-old daughter came home Saturday evening to find their back yard fence open and her front door dead bolted from the inside.
"We went back to the car and called police," Johnston said. "They came in and when they opened the door and escorted us in, we noticed that we had been burglarized."
Johnston said her belongings had been taken out of their bins and drawers and scattered all over the floor.
She says at least $1,000 worth of stuff had been stolen, including jewelry, money and her daughters hover board and cell phone.
"Me and my family, we felt very violated," Johnston said. "We were heartbroken to see what a stranger has done to our home and our precious belongings."
Johnston says the paintings had been taken off the hinges of the walls, her TV was moved and her bedroom window had been broken.
She tells us shes lived in Ardmore for nine years, and nothing like this has ever happened to her before.
"We are dumbfounded and confused and I pray for you because it takes a very bad person to do what was done to my home," Johnston said.
An Ardmore Police spokesperson said no arrests have been made yet but fingerprints were lifted at the scene.
Johnston is offering a $500 reward to anyone who has information about what happened at her home that evening.
