Ardmore man arrested after carrying weapons while on drugs

ARDMORE, Okla. (KXII) - Ardmore police arrested a man early Friday morning after he allegedly threatened someone with a gun while high on drugs.

Officers say Corey Michale Coleman, 30, had been walking down 9th Avenue NE just after 1 a.m. with a gun. A caller told officers Coleman had threatened them with the gun.

Police found Coleman in the 600 block of NW Washington Street. They say Coleman pulled a fake handgun out of his waistband after they made contact with him.

Officers say Coleman dropped the gun and was taken into custody for being publicly intoxicated from drug use.

Coleman was taken to the Carter County Detention Center.
