Ardmore nursing home employee tests positive for COVID-19

The owner of an Ardmore nursing home said an employee at their facility tested positive for COVID-19.

Lakeland Manor sent out a letter to residents and staff stating the Oklahoma State Health Department confirmed the employee tested positive.

Lakeland Manor said the employee showed no signs or symptoms and passed all screening requirements at the beginning of each shift.

The health department determined the employee had little to no exposure to other staff and residents.

Lakeland Manor said it will continue practicing its screening and prevention methods while working with the county and state health departments to keep all residents and staff safe.
