ARDMORE, Okla. (KXII) Police are still searching for three men wanted for the shooting death of an Ardmore woman four years ago.
On Friday Aug. 31, Ada and Ardmore police arrested 26-year-old Stephen Vineyard of Ada.
Vineyard is suspected of shooting Ella Loftis.
Police believe the 59-year-old was caught in the crossfire between two rival gangs in 2014.
Ronald Good lived across the street from Loftis and said the gun shots woke him up the night Loftis died.
"The next morning, I was surprised when I walked out my door and saw the police tape up," Good said.
Four years later, Good said he is thankful police made an arrest and are continuing to investigate.
"That's what law enforcement is for and they're doing their job," Good said. "That's awesome. It makes me feel safe too."
Investigators said they received credible information from a witness on Wed. Aug. 29, and were able to question and arrest Vineyard.
They say they are now pursuing three other persons of interest Marquis Walters, Isaac Lee and Juaren McGee.
Detectives Matt Miller and Landon Gary of Ardmore Police Department are the ones working the case.
"The next step is to hopefully sit down and interview and speak with the persons of interest left in the case," Detective Gary said.
Vineyard is in the Pontotoc County jail and is waiting to be sent to Carter County.
However, police say the investigation is far from over.
"We hope to further that investigation and get everybody involved and bring justice completely to Ms. Loftis," Gary said.
