Ardmore Police Capt. Keith Ingle says Ardmore Police and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics conducted a joint sting operation at the Singapore Massage Parlor on Wednesday morning.

"Basically we'll send in undercover officers, they will go in and try to pay for a legitimate massage," Ingle said, "if that's all that's offered up they'll get their massage and they'll leave."

But Ingle says, that's not all that was offered on Wednesday.

He says Kim Buidang, 60, a California native, was arrested after she offered to engage in prostitution with an undercover officer.

"Up to this point in our investigation, she is the only one that offered up anything," Ingle said.

Ingle says the investigation began after about 20 customers made a complaints about Buidang offering sex for money.

"We've been discussing it ever since we received the complaints," Ingle said.

The parlor's services are listed on the Backpage website, a place where escorts often advertise their services.

Those weren't the only problems at Singapore Massage.

According to the Ardmore Fire Department, the parlor didn't pass it's most recent inspection.

The fire marshal condemned the building, shutting down the parlor.

A search warrant was served where authorities seized other evidence, but they're not saying what evidence they found at this time.

Court clerks say Buidang is being held in the county jail for 48 hours for further questioning.

Police say she could face additional charges.
