LINDSAY, Okla. (KXII) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says one man was killed in a crash near Lindsay early Friday morning.

Troopers say 44-year-old Thomas Powell of Arkansas was killed after a collision on State Highway 76 around 6:40 a.m.

They say Powell was travelling northbound when he crossed into the southbound lane, striking a pickup truck. The collision caused his SUV to roll.

Powell was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say he was wearing a seat-belt at the time of the collision.

The driver of the pickup truck, 40-year-old Damon Combs, was taken to Lindsay Municipal Hospital where he was treated and released for arm and leg injuries.
