BELLS, Texas (KXII) -- Bells ISD is asking voters to approve an $8 million school bond in May.
Superintendent Joe Moore says the money would go towards upgrading infrastructure and technology.
The plan is to also enhance learning in the science rooms, library and update security at their schools.
Moore says the district has grown from 770 students to about 845 in just one year.
If the bond passes, a Bells homeowner with a property valued at $100,000 would pay about $25 extra a year in taxes.
