Beyond Brotherhood hosts coat drive

DAVIS, Okla. (KXII) - President of Beyond Brotherhood and veteran, Brandon Meador, says he and another friend started the organization back in January to help other veterans in need.

They are asking for new or gently used clothing items like coats, socks and shoes as well as hygiene products and canned goods.

Meador says people can drop off their items at the Davis News building or at the Wynnewood Gazette.

He tells us people with items can even schedule a time and he will come pick them up.

"The first one we got probably 40 jackets I think and so far this time we have beat that so it's getting bigger and the community has been great," Meador said.

Meador says the drive will continue into early November.
