Bill Anoatubby announces new name for Chickasaw Bank

Chickasaw Governor Bill Anoatubby announced a name change for the Chickasaw bank.

Previously known as Bank2, the new name will be Chickasaw Community Bank.

Anoatubby said in a Facebook post (below) the new name better represents the tribe and their traditions.

"We see a bright future for Chickasaw community Bank, a home-grown bank that draws on Chickasaw values and history t better serve the people of Oklahoma," Anoatubby said.

The bank has been a part of the Chickasaw community for nearly 20 years.
