Bob Skaggs food drive collects double its goal for Salvation Army donations

SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) - The Bob Skaggs food drive ended Wednesday with more than double their goal.

Last year they filled 50 pallets. Their goal this year was 60 pallets. The final number was more than 120 full pallets of food for the Salvation Army.

The 50 pallets they collected last year kept the pantry stocked for more than a year.

Volunteers say they're excited to see how man people they'll help with more than double the amount of food.
