Boswell man killed in Choctaw Co. crash

GRANT, Okla. (KXII) - A Boswell, Oklahoma, man was killed in a two-vehicle collision late Monday night, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers say Jarrod Harvey was a passenger in a vehicle turning west off northbound US Highway 271 in Grant around 11 p.m. when it was struck by a vehicle southbound on US-271.

The driver of that vehicle and another passenger were treated and released from local hospitals.

The driver of the southbound vehicle was not injured, and was the only person involved in the crash who was wearing a seat belt.

Troopers reported an odor of alcohol coming from the driver of the vehicle in which Harvey was a passenger.

The cause of the collision remains under investigating.
