Bryan Co. man arrested for cattle theft

BRYAN COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - A Bryan County man was arrested for stealing several cows from a Bokchito couple Sunday evening.

Deputies say Joshua Briggs rounded up seven head of cattle and loaded them into a trailer before taking them down Highway 78 toward Fannin County.

Briggs was arrested about two hours later after he was spotted driving back through Bryan County.

Briggs is facing a charge of larceny of domestic animals.

If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison.
