BRYAN COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - A Bryan County man who lied about his age to a teen girl during their months-long sexual relationship has been convicted of rape.

Bokchito police say Corbin Crossland, 19, was convicted of second-degree rape Monday.

Police said Crossland met a 14-year-old girl around Christmas and told her he was 16 years old.

They said Crossland told the girl he was a drug addict and had no family. The girl told police she felt sorry for Crossland and thought she could help him.

The girl told police Crossland gave her drugs.

Police arrested Crossland in July.

He faces up to five years in prison. A sentencing date has not been set.
