BRYAN COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - The Bryan County Juvenile Detention Center is suspended and under investigation by the state.

The Office of Juvenile Affairs said a statement that they suspended their contract with the board of commissioners due to contractual and licensing violations.

OJA confirms the Department of Human Services' Office of Client Advocacy is investigating Youth Services of Bryan County Incorporated, the agency that operates the center.

OJA says the detention center closed Monday pending the investigation.

The juveniles were sent to other detention centers in the state.
