Buc-ee's breaks ground in Melissa

Buc-ee's broke ground Monday on its store off New Davis Road that company officials said would be opened around February 2019.
The location will be just off U.S. Highway 75.
Buc-ee's was recently voted the No. 1 gas station in America by Gas Buddy.
Buc-ee's first announced plans for the Melissa location in January 2017. Those plans called for nearly 200 local jobs, which would make it the second largest employer in Melissa.
