CALLISBURG, Tex. (KXII) - The Callisburg ISD coach accused of having an improper relationship with a student has resigned.

24-year-old Colt Wooley was arrested April 5 at his home for improper relationship between an educator and student. He was booked into the Cooke County jail and has since bonded out.

Wooley taught health and coached boys basketball and baseball.

The affidavit states the 15-year-old victim exchanged photos and texts with Wooley, which investigators found while searching her cell phone--with her mother's consent.

It says that Wooley kissed and touched the teen inappropriately.

He faces up to 20 years in prison, if convicted.

A press release from Superintendent Donald Metzler says the district investigated the incident and took action. He says the district will work to provide a safe environment for students and staff.
