Carter County Court Clerk grants amnesty period

CARTER COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - Carter County Court Clerk Renee Bryant says the amnesty period that runs until April 19 is for anyone who has an active warrant for Failure to Pay or is behind on their court fines and costs payments and could possibly be facing a warrant being issued.

"All they have to do is come in and pay $250, sign an agreement - we will reset their payments and if there is a bench warrant for outstanding fines we will recall that," Bryant said.

Bryant says you can call the County Clerk's office if you or someone you know has a warrant or search online on ODCR.
